9XM SoundcastE: Episode 99 With Rabbani Mustafa
You heard Murtuza Mustafa, last week and now listen to his brother, Rabbani Mustafa Khan, who too belongs to the illustrious Rampur-Sahaswan gharana and is carrying forward legacy of his late father, Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan saab.

He talks about his eventful journey into the world of classical & commercial music, some honest confessions of not being inclined towards learning classical music or doing riyaaz during his growing years to losing monies in a film project to ultimately finding solace in music!

Talking about his latest track, ‘Peer Meri Piya Jaane Na’ (‘Fauji Calling’) composed by Harpriet Singh Vig, he urges the music industry to not to stereotype ‘classical’ musicians & explore their versatility in other genres, too. He also recommends listeners to read his father’s autobiography ‘A Dream I Lived Alone’, captured in its essence by his wife, Namrata Gupta.
